Dancing with the Stars

Grayson was spinning in circles the other evening, I asked him what he was doing, he replied matter of factly "Dancing with the Stars." Of course, I should have known! He then stopped ran upstairs and came down wearing this, he told me they are his "Dancing with the stars shoes."

Here he comes to save the day!!

Grayson got his very first super hero cape this week, actually it is a pair of Batman jammies, complete with cape. He knew instantly what to do, running with his arms behind him, then grabbing the cape and doing a turn while jumping - and a "ta-da" is very likely thrown in with the turn. I feel very safe knowing I have a super hero around to protect me! All of that saving the world wore him out though!

One month old!

I'm running a week late, but here is Radlee on his 1 month birthday. He is getting so big and staying so sweet.

I couldn't believe my ears!

So the boys and I went on our weekly Target run today (this is the first time just the 3 of us have gone). Grayson was quietly munching "corncorn" (popcorn) and sipping "mots" (milk) in the basket of the cart (where he wouldn't allow me to put anything while shopping) and Radlee was riding shotgun. I was turned away looking at something when I hear the sweetest sound emanating from our cart. I turn around just in time to see Radlee in a wide smile, giggling. He was sleeping so it must have been some sweet dream he was having. I of course teared up and practically cried in the shoe department. I had forgotten how sweet those first laughs are.

On another note of disbelief, before Target we had been at the Doctor's office having Radlee's weight checked - he is now 11 lbs!! At this rate he may catch up to Grayson by his first birthday!

Two week check up

I cannot believe it has already been over 2 weeks since Radlee arrived. He is such a blessing and such a good baby, the past 2 nights he has slept the entire night in his own bed and has only gotten up once to eat. We went to the Doctor on Monday for his 2 week weigh in and he now tips the scales at 9lb 14oz and 22 inches, he already seems so big to me, I forgot how quickly it passes.

Sweet Boys

Easter

The Easter Bunny hopped into town and spoiled two little boys! Grayson & Radlee woke up to filled Easter baskets and a day full of treats! We went to Cottonwood Grill for brunch, home for naps, and to GiGi and Papa's house for Tacos. It was a full day but very fun and the boys were precious!

Painted What???

Take note of the pictures in the next post of Grayson's fingernails.... I was primping on the Sunday before I was to have Radlee and Grayson was my shadow all that day. When it came time to paint my toenails he became facinated by what I was doing. It wasn't long before he was holding a bottle of polish and telling me "Me Mama" I started out slow, light pink on his toes, however that was in no way good enough "NO Dis" he says thrusting a bottle of red-sparkly polish into my hand. I was really left with no choice, what started with the toes lead to the fingers as well.... While his daddy wasn't necessarily thrilled, I don't think he was really surprised either. As of today the polish on his fingers has chipped away but his toes are still sparkling!

Brotherly Love

Grayson is quite enamored with his new baby brother - He tells Radlee "ohtay bebe" when he cries, makes sure he is always covered with a nonnie (he even shares his favorite one from time to time), and I will often find Radlee cuddling with his baby bunny in his cradle courtesy of G. These pictures are from the hospital, one of the firtst meetings between the boys.
